Okay, so although Sophie’s World doesn’t mention it, I am just going to say that Lord Byron was a good friend to, and companion of the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley (whose next) and his wife during a fateful trip to Lake Geneva, where all their chatter about science and faith and ethics in this new romantic world inspired Percy’s wife Mary to write a book better known today than anything they ever did!
